1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the GitHub QA Tool ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Access to GitHub Repositories

When you authenticate with GitHub, you are granting the Service permission to access your GitHub repositories as specified in the GitHub OAuth scope. The Service will only access repositories you explicitly authorize.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Service. Prohibited behavior includes but is not limited to:

Distributing malware or other malicious code
Using the Service to generate tests for illegal or harmful purposes
Attempting to bypass any security measures
Excessive use of system resources or API requests

4. Data and Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

5. User Data

The Service will store certain information, including but not limited to your GitHub username, access token (securely encrypted), repositories you add to the Service, test runs, and audit trails.

6. Intellectual Property

The tests generated by the Service may be used within your projects. However, the Service itself, including its code, design, and functionality, is the intellectual property of the Service owner.

7. GitHub Token Usage

Your GitHub personal access token is stored securely and is used solely for the purposes of accessing your repositories, creating branches, commits, and pull requests on your behalf, and other GitHub operations necessary for the functioning of the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and we make no warranty or representation regarding the quality of the generated tests. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. If we make changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of these terms and by providing a prominent notice on our Service.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach the Terms.
